I had a rare opportunity to meet the 3 most important members of Pak team this evening - Misbah-ul-Haq, Salman Butt and Shoaib Malik.  The event was organized by my MBA institute and was titled "Managment lessons from the Cricket field".  The interaction session was aimed at learning
strategy from cricket players.

Salman Butt has impeccable English. He speaks flawless english and is very assertive. He is a very patient listener and understands the management concepts well.

Shoaib Malik was his usual self. Answer to every question would start with "We are professionals" but he was intelligent.

Misbah is the man who impressed me the most. He speaks with a thick accent but gramatically correct English. His answers were to the point - crisp and power packed.

We had a moderator and Pak team's media manager to screen out questions. But someone asked Misbah about how he felt after that fateful scoop into the waiting hands of Sreesanth.
Misbah smiled and said "you should be happy".

Rana's Addendum
My friend ( I have to call him so just for the heck of a public forum) - Rana Singh, had the opportunity to drop them back and he did it, without harming anyone of them. Here's his update,  Over to Ranalila :)  The guy with the pseudo moustache is Rana's truly :)

Hi, I had a rare opportunity to be with Misbah ul haq, Salman Butt & Shoaib Malik for over 2 hours when i escorted them back from TASMAC - Bangalore campus ( where they had come to have an interactive session with students on " Management Lessons From Cricket Field) to their hotel Ashok on 7th December, I totally agree with the type of person you have described Misbah as, the two hour Drive was an eye opener to me as we just sat in the car discussing various things ( most related to Cricket though).
Misbah is a very cool and collected person and is not ruffled by difficult questions ( I asked him a question at the seminar:
Q At a very crucial juncture of the match, if you knew that you had nicked the ball and the umpire didn’t give you out, would you "walk" and be fair to yourself and the Game at the cost of letting down your team and country?.... and here is what Misbah replied: "Bahoot difficult question poocha hai ,as much as I believe in fair play, at the end of its the umpire has to take the right decision, its not my call, I will "stay" if not given out and it will not weigh heavy on my conscience" ( smart reply, don’t u think?)...during the 2 Hr Car drive, I did ask him about his favorite grounds and he mentioned Eden Gardens(Ind)),Wanderers(S.A), English Grounds ( I am not sure if he meant the "Oval" Or most of the grounds in England, he also mentioned that he likes the grounds in New Zealand a lot.
At the end of the Drive as we all alighted from the Car, Misbah actually gave me a “brotherly hug” this goes just to show how down to earth and emotional human he is.
Surprise, surprise, surprise,,,,, On 9th December after the days play, where the proud Indian team made them run all over the ground….. at around 8 pm , Misbah actually called me, just for a little chit – chat ( this , when he was spending his private time with his family)…now this is man who knows how to respect ,handle and nurture relationships.
I for one, wish Misbah the “Gentleman”, the “Brother” very best of life and a successful career in on going Cricket series ( nah, it doesn’t mean that I don’t want Team India to win, actually I want Team India to win and Misbah the man to shine as a “hero”.
Misbah is a very Dignified Gentleman and deserves his days as the star of the game.
I for one have been bowled over by his down to earth personality ..nd yess I am a ‘Fan” of Misbah the Person……
